"We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty." — Maya Angelou

The importance of relationships within our daily lives is often overlooked or forgotten when we struggle. Focusing on relationships, I use personal interaction to promote healing inside and outside of the therapeutic setting. Through the use of video conferencing, I work with individuals and couples who struggle in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief, as well as family and couples relational dynamics. My treatment style integrates compassion, support, and humor to build resiliency through self-regulation, encourage growth, and promote self-discovery.

I received my MA in Counseling & Community Psychology with a Certificate in Forensic Mental Health from Sage Graduate School. I completed my graduate training in psychotherapy through Samaritan Counseling Center. I now work with couples and individuals through secure video conferencing to offer the opportunity to connect with clients at their convenience.

"He said, ‘You become. It takes a long time. That’s why it doesn’t happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real you can’t be ugly, except to the people who don’t understand." — The Velveteen Rabbit, Margery Williams
